Airlines have ordered hundreds of these planes, and many industry executives view the aircraft as being a game changer. In this post, Id like to share my general takeaway from flying on this aircraft, from a passenger experience perspective. This aircraft is based on the A321 family of aircraft, but features more range.

The pilots advised that theyd be able to vacate the runway under their own power, and wouldnt need any assistance. The air traffic controller cleared the jet to vacate the runway, and then taxi via taxiways C and A. At the same time, youd think the controller wouldnt have given the instruction to make that turn.

While I imagine an investigation will be performed, the current theory is that this might partly come down to jet blast from another aircraft. According to reports, a vehicle may have driven between the two taxiing aircraft, with the belief being that the jet blast from the A350 caused the cargo container to fly into the 787’s engine.

The 777X is Boeing’s new flagship aircraft, which is badly delayed. The jet was supposed to enter service in 2020, but has been delayed until at least 2025, due to certification issues. Now the airline is severely capacity constrained, not just due to a shortage of aircraft, but also due to a shortage of pilots.

However I decided to use this free day to do a joyride on this airline, furthermore I wanted to fly on the airline's pokemon jet and I decided to go for it both ways on the 767. This airline took delivery of the first ERJ-190E2 and would go on to operate a total of 9 aircraft, leased from Azorra.
