A photo believed to show a new Emirates Airbus A350-900 emblazoned with full fuselage colors for the first time has surfaced a day after the airline announced the destinations to be served by its A350 aircraft. The brand-new Airbus A350, registered A6EXA, was spotted during night-time at the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France, on May 7, 2024, in the famous Emirates livery.

As recently as 2022, there was a quintet of US military aircraft that were still doggedly soldiering on after 50+ years of faithful service to the US Air Force and/or Navy. This high-flying pantheon consisted of the B-52 Stratofortress (AKA the "B.U.F.F."), the C-130 Hercules , the U-2 spy plane (affectionately known to her pilots as "The Dragon Lady."), the P-3 Orion, and last but not least, the Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker.

In one of the more unusual Notams published recently, pilots are cautioned that an upcoming maintenance project at the Indian Creek Airstrip (S81) in Idaho includes the “potential for mules and equipment on the strip and berms” along with uneven ground and loose rocks on the 4,650-foot dirt runway. The project starts tomorrow (May 9) and the warning is in effect from 07:00 local time to 20:00 May 13.

According to ch-aviation , they average 24.1 years, making them the German giants second-oldest widebody type after the Airbus A340-300 (24.6 years). Its 747-400s have 371 seats. There are 67 business seats, 32 in premium economy, and 272 in economy. Its 747-8s have slightly fewer seats; they're much more premium-heavy aircraft.

I’ve been watching this with great interest, as we’ve never seen a project to this scale before, and I can’t help but wonder if it’s all realistic. But now that the platform has matured, few dispute that it is perhaps the world's premier multi-role fighter. Dallas/Fort Worth to Barcelona took off for the first time on February 23, when it operated until March 2 for the gigantic World Mobile Congress. The route began 'properly' in April.
