As far as I know the A321neo-LR is the only narrow-bodyaircraft in TAP's fleet that has seatback screens in both Economy and Business Class. My entertainment on this flight was enjoying the view outside and chatting with my partner, fortunately time went past quickly and we were on our descent.
For the flight itself, after take off at Delhi, we encountered quite a bit of turbulence and also more turbulence happened during the crossing through the Bay of Bengal. At least when we started our descent, the weather was much better, descending and landing in smooth condition. At this point, we started our descent.
About 40 minutes on the aircraft, we were finally on our way, no updates from the Captain until later part of the flight. The turbulence was not as bad as what I was anticipating and for most parts of the flight, it was smooth. Off we go, fortunately it wasn't turbulent. At this point, we started our descent into LHR airport.
Gone were the days when Singapore Airlines operated wide-body on popular cities such as Penang and Phuket with the Boeing 777-200 (Non-ER rated) and now the airline is operating the smaller narrow-bodyaircraft which allows more flexibility and adjustment of the frequency or up-gauge the aircraft on the routes when is needed.
