LATAM Airlines Brasil Boeing 777 PT-MUG, flight TAM8073 from Milan (MXP) to São Paulo (GRU), suffered a tail strike during rotation while taking off. Flight performed a fuel dump and landed safely at 12:50 UTC on runway 35R. The aircraft reportedly suffered significant damage and has been grounded since.

Well, unfortunately today isnt one of those days, as an Azerbaijan Airlines jet bound for Russia diverted to Kazakhstan, where it crashed, killing dozens. Flight #J28243 that crashed near Aktau Airport in Kazakhstan is an Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer ERJ-190 with registration 4K-AZ65. All 23 people onboard died.
