Is there wind shear at a certain altitude? In this case we have moved out five hours, to 2000 UTC. Is there ice on climb out? What’s the best cruising altitude? All of these questions can be answered (at least in part) by the Skew-T diagram. Fortunately, you can use this as a forecast tool as well.
