During these events, it’s quite common for a pilot to walk up and ask me about how I handled my most challenging flight as it relates to weather. We had checked weather, Notams, and everything else, and all seemed good. Later, YFB Twr/Wx said that an ice storm had knocked out both NDBs and that no Notam was ever issued.
