This is quite an interesting piece of tech I came across: Swiss company Meteomatics is dropping 250g foam gliders from the stratosphere (where they get to pulled by a balloon) in order to collect weather data.

This side of the terminal offers view of the tarmac and if you go up to the food court, you are able to do some photography over there. One thing I won't miss is the dreadful weather. What I like about the interior of the terminals at this airport is they offer good view of the tarmac which allow great opportunity to take good photos of the aircraft. Once we were on our way, we flew through a bit of turbulence but once the weather was better, the seat belt sign was turned off. Goodbye Frankfurt! I certainly am.
