Early generation maps displayed four colors that correlate to the four basic flight categories. Green – VFR ( Visual Flight Rules ) Ceiling > 3,000 ft. If I see a yellow light, I need to take a close look at winds and runway alignment before driving to the hangar. They all follow the same format.
