But landing it safely on the runway is a skill. Brief that you will use the right rudder to align the aircraft straight with the runway and the left aileron to counteract drift. Depending on the wind direction and airport surroundings, you may experience some turbulence. This will reduce your workload in turbulent conditions.

The little plane leapt into the air almost immediately as the wind seemingly swirled from every direction along the 5,000-foot runway. I announced our departure intentions, receiving well wishes from the airport attendant who had come out to admire the plane, and Wilkins once again pointed us down the runway and into the blue sky.

We made an IFR departure that morning on runway 16 and climbed above the ceiling in short order. At one point, we entered a region of sufficient turbulence that I disengaged the autopilot to hand-fly. We broke out right at the missed approach point which is much too high and close to the runway threshold to make a normal landing.

Currently the airport has 2 terminals with a 3rd starting operation in the near future, it has an impressive 5 runways (runway 17L/35R, 17R/35L, 16L/34R, 16R/34L and 15/33). There was turbulence from time to time and the seatbelt sign came on a few times. At this point, we started rolling down the runway.

This time, both of the engines were started after pushed back so no PTU (Power Transfer Unit) - 'barking' noise was heard during our taxi to the runway. We took off with a few bumps here and there and more turbulence happening when we flew through the clouds during our climb. Here we are, we have reached the threshold.

Announcement was made by the Captain about our flight which we would to expect some turbulence especially along the way but no mention about the flight delay. Once we were on our way, we flew through a bit of turbulence but once the weather was better, the seat belt sign was turned off. What's provided for each passenger ?
