Currently the airport has 2 terminals with a 3rd starting operation in the near future, it has an impressive 5 runways (runway 17L/35R, 17R/35L, 16L/34R, 16R/34L and 15/33). There was turbulence from time to time and the seatbelt sign came on a few times. At this point, we started rolling down the runway.

This time, both of the engines were started after pushed back so no PTU (Power Transfer Unit) - 'barking' noise was heard during our taxi to the runway. We took off with a few bumps here and there and more turbulence happening when we flew through the clouds during our climb. Here we are, we have reached the threshold.

Announcement was made by the Captain about our flight which we would to expect some turbulence especially along the way but no mention about the flight delay. Once we were on our way, we flew through a bit of turbulence but once the weather was better, the seat belt sign was turned off. What's provided for each passenger ?

As the graphs obtained directly from the watches suggest, prior to any flight, there is a rise in the heart rate above the underlying “resting” threshold. And possible out of nowhere, we may encounter teeth-chattering clear air turbulence. A good pilot briefs himself about any-and-all emergency procedures.

I have flown into Mackinac Island a few times over the years, but this was the first time an easterly wind prevailed that favored runway 8 over runway 26. Mackinac Island Airport (KMCD) We entered the traffic pattern for runway 8 on the north side of the airport using a conventional 45° entry to the downwind.

The airport mayhave 2 runways (runway 14/32 and runway 09/27) but only one runway is in operation (09/27) and if this runway is in maintenance, the other runway will be in used. Once we reached runway 27, we departed just minutes after our schedule departure time. So overall, this flight was smooth.
