On that day, the weather forecast was favorable, with light and variable winds. I checked the weather updates, which still showed no significant changes. The wind was fierce, and the narrow runway offered little room for error. This time, I planned a different route, one that would take me around the worst of the weather.

The weather was not good that day. The airport tarmac, traffic was very light at that time. I checked the weather radar and fortunately for us, the weather was good until evening time. Fortunately for us the weather was good. I was pleasantly surprised with the good weather along the way. I certainly do.

The present condition of the tarmac, taxiways and runways is good, and there’s no airport construction currently underway. There are currently no Stage 2 noise restrictions, no airport slots are required, and the runway is the second longest in Europe. Weather Weather issues seldom impact operations at airports in Ireland.

Currently the airport has 2 terminals, the main and the satallite terminal and uses 2 runways, runway 03L/21R and 03R/21R. The view of the tarmac. Rolling down the runway in this beautiful weather. We are on final approach on runway 34 at SKG. We passed by this A320CEO being prepared for departure.

Runways, taxiways, and tarmac are in good condition. With a 10,000-foot runway, EGSS can accommodate aircraft up to business/VIP, configured up to and including a B747-800. runway, a GA ramp located on the other side of the field separate from schedule commercial activity, and good airline links for crew repositioning purposes.

What I like about the interior of the terminals at this airport is they offer good view of the tarmac which allow great opportunity to take good photos of the aircraft. Once we were on our way, we flew through a bit of turbulence but once the weather was better, the seat belt sign was turned off. What's provided for each passenger ?
