737 Skids Off Tarmac In Senegal An Air Senegal flight left the runway during take-off late on Wednesday night , with flames allegedly engulfing one side of the plane. At least 10 people were injured at Dakar’s Blaise Daigne airport, including the pilot.

The weather was not good that day. The airport tarmac, traffic was very light at that time. I checked the weather radar and fortunately for us, the weather was good until evening time. This side of the terminal offers view of the tarmac and if you go up to the food court, you are able to do some photography over there. One thing I won't miss is the dreadful weather. Once done, I entered the airside of the airport. There are a good number of shops and eateries at the airside. I can only speculate. Goodbye Mumbai!

What I like about the interior of the terminals at this airport is they offer good view of the tarmac which allow great opportunity to take good photos of the aircraft. Once we were on our way, we flew through a bit of turbulence but once the weather was better, the seat belt sign was turned off. Goodbye Frankfurt! I certainly am.

Plane spotting and photography are possible at the international airside as the windows offer unobstructed clear view of the tarmac and you get great views like these photos below. Yesterday was a challenging travel day in the United States, due to some weather systems. Anyone else who traveled yesterday knows it was a problem ridden due to a deadly weather system that moved across the country with a 50k ft ceiling (i.e. Clearly no pilot. But nothing for a family of for via DFW, PHX, CLT, PHI or ORD.

Therefore it is common for flight delays in departure and arrival especially if the weather is bad. The Air India pilots and cabin crew selected to operate the A350, have to undergo crew familisation program before being allowed to operate the aircraft. Well done to the PIC (Pilot-in-command)! So overall, this flight was smooth.
