The Pitot-Static System: How It Works

When your aircraft is parked on the tarmac, the pitot-static system faces other risks. During takeoff, the Pilot Not Flying (PNF) calls out airspeed, usually at 80 knots, and the Pilot Flying (PF) verifies it matches their ASI. If you must, sacrifice the Vertical Speed Indicator, as its the least critical instrument.

United Airlines Airbus A319 evacuated in Houston after engine failure on take-off

According to the Aviation Herald, the aircraft had accelerated to around 115 knots (132 mph / 213 kph) when the crew reported the failure of the right-hand engine and elected to reject the take-off. Having been pushed back from its gate at 07:58, the flight headed out to runway 15R at Houston before being cleared for take-off at 08:14.
