Nigeria suspends Max Air flights for three months after 737 landing incident

While landing at Kano Airport and nearing runway 06 around 22:48 local time, the aircraft experienced a burst tire, and its nose gear collapsed. There were 53 passengers, and six crew members onboard the aircraft. The flight crew quickly regained control and safely stopped the aircraft.

Passenger Lunged Into Flight Deck, Almost Caused A Crash

The pilots told investigators the plane was going about 75 knots when Eagleman lunged. The sudden assymetrical thrust caused a yaw but the pilots were able to regain control and stop on the runway. Just as the plane touched down, Eagleman lunged toward the flight deck and pushed full throttle on one of the engines.
