Green – VFR ( Visual Flight Rules ) Ceiling > 3,000 ft. If I see a yellow light, I need to take a close look at winds and runway alignment before driving to the hangar. They all follow the same format. I chose the default setting of 15 knots because the max demonstrated crosswind component of our Cherokee Six is 17 knots.
