This creates boundary layer separation, resulting in a loss of lift. Stalling with a high-power setting takes more effort since there is thrust and a high-energy slipstream from the propeller, which prevents boundary layer separation. Be careful because retracting the flaps causes the center of the lift to move forward.

The airfoil is a Harry Riblett shape, giving modernized flow separation on the leading edge for a soft stall yet with good lift and drag performance. Pretty much the only metal parts are the landing gear legs, stainless firewalls, engine mounts, engines and hardware. Pricing You would have to ask. Overall, the controls were wonderful.

Post-accident assessment of the aircraft revealed substantial damage to the auxiliary power unit (APU) firewall bulkhead, resulting from the aircrafts aft fuselages contact with the runway surface. Inflight icing was heavily suspected as the cause of the accident, causing a loss of lift and a stall-induced spin.
