Learjet 35A veers off runway in Scottsdale, collides with parked Gulfstream G200

A Learjet 35A business jet has suffered a runway excursion while landing at Scottsdale Airport (SDL) close to Phoenix, Arizona. According to reports, the aircraft experienced a main landing gear failure on touch-down, leading to the aircraft departing the paved runway surface and colliding with a parked Gulfstream G200 aircraft.

D.C. mid-air collision: major debris recovered, NTSB reports

Eisenhower National Airport (ICT) to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and was on final approach to runway 33 when the collision happened. The CRJ700 was en route from Wichita Dwight D. Following the collision, both aircraft crashed into the Potomac River near the airport.
