TARMAC Aerosave to recycle three more A380s to boost global spare parts pool

It is understood that the three A380s in question are already in long-term storage at LDE so no ferry flights will be needed before work can begin. The company has a second facility located in Teruel Airport (TEV) in Spain where it opened an additional hangar capable of handling Airbus A380 aircraft earlier in 2024.

The last of 70 Cathay Pacific aircraft stored in Australia returns to Hong Kong

With its arrival back at its home airport, the ferry flight marked the end of a four-year-long saga that saw much of the carrier’s fleet mothballed. In all, 70 aircraft were sent by the carrier to be stored in the dry, arid conditions of the Australian desert. The plane had been in Alice Springs since September 2020.

Fairchild XNQ-1 Donated to The Hagerstown Aviation Museum

This aircraft is currently preparing for a ferry flight from its longtime home at Fairview Airport in Rhome, Texas back to the place of its birth in Hagerstown, Maryland. It was in a hangar in Waco circa 1980 that Dom Pellegreno first saw the aircraft, while he and his wife, Ann, sheltered from a storm.
