Welcome to my Delta Airlines 767-400ER Trip report! Introduction At this time of blogging, Delta Airlines offered 2 daily flights to GRU (Sao Paulo), I can chose either to fly to London Heathrow via Atlanta or New York JFK. After checking out the options, I initially went for the GRU-JFK-LHR, however the airline rescheduled my flight to just a 1 hour and 35 minutes connection at JFK, I knew I had to change the flight as the tight connection was too risky.

Exploration Some trips are simply made for light aircraft. Take, for example, our recent foray to Saratoga Springs, NY for a college visit. (Yes, The Bear has reached that age. How is that even possible?) We had a 9:30 am appointment to tour the college's interdisciplinary sciences building on Monday, September 25. We also had tickets to the theater in downtown Rochester the afternoon before, with the show expected to end shortly before 5:00 pm.

Flight 7 : Kuujjuaq – Shefferville After a good night of rest after yesterday’s long day , we woke up pretty early in a calmed down Auberge Kuujjuaq. Downstairs we topped up of jug of coffee and paid the hotel. The hotel manager was a friendly guy with Moroccan roots who knew Belgium. He brought us in his battered car to the airport down the road.

A Condor Airbus A330 with Mt. Rainier in the background. It is one thing to smell jet fuel (which we did), but we also enjoyed the smell of burning rubber after each aircraft touched down. Most times I will use my longer lens when spotting at airports, but we were so close that I often had to swap out for my shorter one… and that is not a bad thing.

The distance is approximately 280NM and the flight time on the ATR72 is around 1:30-1:45 minutes depending on the winds and traffic at Madeira (and also Tenerife south airport).
