Alaska Airlines invests in JetZero’s blended-wing-body airliner concept

Alaska Airlines announced on August 13, 2024, that it has invested an undisclosed amount in JetZero, a US startup which is developing a revolutionary blended-wing-body (BWB) low emissions aircraft. This investment has been channeled through Alaska Star Ventures (ASV), the venture capital arm of Alaska Airlines, which has a mandate to invest in technologies that can help the carrier reach its goal to become carbon neutral by 2040.
