Like any of the other ratings, the Private Pilot must go through the usual FAA check ride profile: written test , oral exam , and practical portion. I’m a private pilot that’s building hours, and I came across a job offer for a seasonal aerial right seater with the description: Assist pilot and observe from the right seat position of Aircraft Since the job only lists “assist”, would I be able to log hours as a safety pilot or something while getting paid since I wouldn’t be acting as PIC? Are there any regulations against this?

This is actually, not the aircraft I flew. The one this flight report refers to was a white-liveried GetJet A320. Flight#: J28104 From: Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen (SAW) To: Baku (GYD) Flight time: 2h 50min Aircraft: Airbus A320 This was my first time flying Azerbaijan Airlines. However, technically speaking the aircraft and crew were provided by GetJet, so I am not sure how much this flight review reflects the typical Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) experience.
