Luxembourg-based Luxair extends 2023 Embraer order to six E195-E2 aircraft

Luxembourg-based Luxair has extended an order agreed with Embraer from October 2023 to six E195-E2 aircraft, after exercising options within the contract. Embraer announced on December 17, 2024, that the Luxembourg flag carrier had signed a firm order with the Brazilian planemaker for a further two E195-E2s. In October 2023, Luxair ordered four E195-E2s, with two options and three purchase rights for more aircraft, with conversion rights to E190-E2 if required.
