Sri Lankan Airlines pilot grounded after locking co-pilot out of cockpit

An investigation is underway after a Sri Lankan Airlines pilot locked his co-pilot out of the cockpit mid-flight. The incident occurred on September 21, 2024, on flight UL 607 which was flying from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD) to Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo. According to reports, the female co-pilot left the cockpit to use the restroom towards the end of the 11-hour flight.

Hawaiian Needed Three Airplanes to Get Me Home (Trip Report)

I had been sitting on a ton of points from last October when Hawaiian canceled a couple flights impacting four people for whom we used miles, so my goal was to use those here. Unfortunately, between LA and Long Beach, the best I could do was 30,000 points for coach.
