Avianca unveils new business class experience for flights to and from Europe

Avianca has unveiled its new business class product on B787 Dreamliner aircraft flights between Bogota’s El Dorado International Airport (BOG) and Europe. Called ‘Insignia by Avianca’, the business class cabin features flatbed seats that can recline 180 degrees as well as offering better privacy and space, plus access to the entertainment system on integrated 16-inch screens.

London-Gatwick Airport (LGW) South Terminal has been evacuated upon the “discovery of a suspected prohibited item in luggage”, according to Sussex Police. Police officers were called to Gatwick Airport at 08.20 on November 22, 2024, after the terminal was evacuated as a precaution. An EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) team has been deployed to the scene, which has been cordoned off to keep staff and members of the public safe.
