In an interview with Simple Flyings Dillon Shah at the sidelines of the delivery event for Icelandair s first ever Airbus A321LR at the start of December , CEO Bogi Nils Bogason revealed that the carrier would soon be thinking about what is next for its Boeing 767 fleet. He did not rule out the possibility of a widebody order, replacing its current fleet of three passenger-configured 767s.

Of course the single most important thing an airline can do is transport you safely between two points, ideally in a timely fashion. Charles flew into Ocean City last night and I thought I would try and catch up for breakfast this morning. We swapped text messages and he was in a meeting then had to fly back to New Garden N57 for another meeting.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has blamed the flight crew of a Hawaiian Airlines flight for a severe turbulence incident experienced in December 2022. Pilots of the Hawaiian Airbus A330-200 decided to fly above a known storm cell instead of going around it, leading to four serious injuries onboard and several more minor injuries.

A drone sighting briefly closed Stewart Airport in New York on Friday and prompted Gov. Kathy Hochul to call for federal legislation to allow all levels of law enforcement to address the drones. Stewart officials closed the airport, a mostly GA facility and Air National Guard base, which is sometimes used as an alternate for New York airports, for about an hour at 9:30 p.m. after the FAA notified them of a reported drone sighting.
