Swiss startup H55 partners with Elfly to distribute electric aircraft

Swiss electric aviation startup H55, which is led by adventurer and entrepreneur Andr Borschberg, has entered a commercial partnership with Norwegian electric seaplane developer Elfly Group. The deal, which was announced on December 16, 2024, will see Elfly Group acquiring three units of the pioneering B23 Energic battery-electric aircraft (with options for two more units later on).

The headlines you’ve heard are that Hawaiian will start 1x daily from Seattle to Tokyo/Narita and next summer it will fly 2x daily on Seattle – Anchorage.
