Eve Air Mobility secures additional $50 million to continue eVTOL development

Eve Air Mobility, Embraer’s publicly-listed electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft developer, announced on October 30, 2024, that it has secured a US$50 million loan from Citibank. With this new credit facility, Eve Air Mobility has expanded its liquidity position to around US$480 million. The available funds should enable Eve to continue developing its eVTOL aircraft, the first prototype of which was publicly unveiled in the summer of 2024.

Airbus lines up new commercial jet CEO, Faury reaffirms aircraft delivery target

Airbus has reaffirmed its plan to deliver 770 aircraft this year despite ongoing supply chain challenges, according to its latest financial update. Airbus confirmed on October 30, 2024, that 497 commercial aircraft have been delivered during the first nine months of the year comprising 45 A220s, 396 A320 family aircraft, 20 A330s and 36 A350s.
