KLM’s first Airbus A321neo aircraft has been spotted at the manufacturer’s facilities in Finkenwerder (XFW), near Hamburg, Germany. As talks reportedly near their end, Boeing has proposed using mostly company stock to purchase supplier Spirit AeroSystems instead of cash, according to Bloomberg. The last-minute strategy change by Boeing values Spirit AeroSystems around $35 per share according to sources familiar with the process that spoke with Bloomberg. It had been expected that Boeing would make an all-cash offer of more than $4 billion for two-thirds of Spirit AeroSystems, according to The Wall Street Journal.

While this incident was from a civilian-operated tanker , the United States Air Force operates a larger strategic tanker fleet than the rest of the world combined. In-air refueling is a key part of how the US Air Force is able to project air power around the world.

South Korea's ambitious KF-21 Boramae is progressing at a lightning pace, and South Korea has now formally greenlit serial production (while the jet is still in testing and development). The contract covers the procurement of the first 20 KF-21 Boramae fighter jets for the Korean Air Force.
