LATAM unveils new economy cabin design for Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners

LATAM Airways has unveiled plans for a new economy cabin design aboard the carrier’s Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft. LATAM made the announcement on April 30, 2024, indicating that certain subsidiaries of the airline group would begin operating Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners with their economy cabin “completely renovated”. LATAM said each retrofit would cost the airline $15 million per aircraft with four 787-9s scheduled to receive the makeover in 2024.

Uganda Airlines May Get 2 New Boeing 787 Dreamliners & 2 Freighters Through Government Deal

Uganda's government, led by President Yoweri Museveni, has reportedly struck a deal with Boeing to acquire up to four aircraft for the national carrier Uganda Airlines. The Seattle Times is reporting Josh Dean, 45, a former quality control inspector at 737 MAX fuselage supplier Spirit Aerosystems in Wichita, died from an infection by an agressive antibiotic-resistant bacteria called Methicillin-Resistant Staphyulococcus Aureus, or MRSA.
