Since static pressure changes with altitude and weather, the static port provides a constant reading of the current atmospheric pressure. The atmospheric, or static pressure, varies with altitude and weather. As the name implies, the VSI shows the rate of the aircrafts climb or descent. Together, this is called total pressure.

Flying on New Year's Day With A New Airline from Frankfurt to Athens!

What I like about the interior of the terminals at this airport is they offer good view of the tarmac which allow great opportunity to take good photos of the aircraft. Once we were on our way, we flew through a bit of turbulence but once the weather was better, the seat belt sign was turned off. Goodbye Frankfurt!
