The Pitot-Static System: How It Works

Pilots can use pitot heat or alternate static sources to handle blockages in-flight. The altimeter is the only instrument in small aircraft that gives the pilot altitude information. Since atmospheric pressure changes with weather, pilots must adjust the altimeter using the local barometric pressure shown in the Kollsman Window.

What I like about the interior of the terminals at this airport is they offer good view of the tarmac which allow great opportunity to take good photos of the aircraft. At this point we started our descent and we can feel the wind shaking our plane quite a bit especially at a lower altitude. Thanks to the pilots for the great landing.
