There were a few good bumps during take off and more of it during the descent especially flying through the clouds. Anyway, during the descent, there was quite a bit of bumps and that also includes a sudden downdraft that made me hold on to the seat in front of me, I dislike this feeling to be honest.

December is quite common for bad weather as it is considered the monsoon period. The taxi to the runway took around 5 minutes.

I did a check on the weather and I noticed how windy the condition is at Lisbon so one thing for sure, this was probably a bumpy flight. It was not an inspiring morning to fly out of Sodus, but I knew that the poor weather was localized to the Lake Ontario shore and that Washington DC was forecast to be sunny and significantly warmer.
