Voepass pilots fought altitude loss for one minute before crash, media reports

As the aircraft lost altitude the co-pilot asked what was happening and that “more power” was needed to stabilize the plane. Due to the ATR 72-500’s propellers close proximity to the cockpit investigators told TV Globo that it was difficult to understand conversations. This is pretty horrific.

The restoration team removed, refurbished (or remade) and reinstalled each component from the original vertical stabilizer, one-at-a-time, so everything stayed in alignment, negating the need for a fixture. AirCorps Aviation’s CAD department has produced a rendering of the AT-10’s horizontal stabilizer.
