One method is to look at the cockpit windows. The 737 has six cockpit windows (which is standard), and the window at the far end on each side “slopes up” at the bottom, so the window doesn’t go as far down as on other jets. The 787 is the only wide body jet to have four cockpit windows, rather than six.
