Although I havent spent much time around GB1s (except for drooling over them while they are on display and flying at airshows) I am always taken aback by how much larger the airplane appears to be in personparticularly, the tall, sweeping rudder that curves down to a sharp point with just enough ground clearance.

Beating the Odds I called for and received taxi clearance to the museum and started rolling. Dan received the same clearance. Dan received his taxi clearance, then offered that the whole process works better when the chocks are removed before engine start. Mere recollection of the incident was enough to make me blush.
