A LATAM jet departing Italy for Brazil suffered a tail strike on takeoff, in what can only be described as a rather strange incident, as reported by The Aviation Herald. However, while rotating, the jet struck its tail on the runway. Flight performed a fuel dump and landed safely at 12:50 UTC on runway 35R.

In 2019, Seletar implemented Noise Abatement procedures between 1400 to 2300 UTC. Parking is beginning to become an issue as traffic increases and with more bigger jets using Seletar.
