I already had set up for Patuxent approach so I switched from CTAF to Pax to pick up my clearance. Once south of Myrtle Beach I was turned direct Charleston VOR. Ok, enough rambling.

I contacted Asheville ground to pick up my clearance but it was not on file. The whole process has become second nature. That’s odd.
