We started the game to deviate to the left and the right but after a while nature was winning from us: we could not avoid anymore getting into the clouds which potentially carried ice, turbulence or worse. ATC assigned runway 18 and landed.

Bad data caused by turbulence, turns, and other anomalies was discarded. All of our flying started early in the mornings before afternoon turbulence and storms. Hangar space is sometimes available for under $50/night – a nice option if storms are expected. Pressure altitudes were converted to density altitude.

The bad weather continued to plague them and the crew were concerned about the lightning, icing and turbulence associated with thunderstorms.
