As the flight drew closer to its destination, the first officer contacted the Voepass operational dispatcher at Guarulhos to coordinate their arrival. A cabin crew member contacted the flight deck, but the first officer asked her to wait while he finished dealing with dispatch. The ATR’s airspeed was 184 knots.
