At that point the project is trucked 5 miles to the Prineville Airport where final assembly takes place in a hangar. Just recognizable in the background is a horizontal stabilizer and one-piece elevator. A long wheelbase and reasonably firm gear offset the Gweduck’s high center of gravity to make an easy-handling taildragger.
