AGL is important for drone pilots as the regular ceiling for drone flight is defined as 400 feet AGL. This means that, in most cases, a drone pilot flying in FPV will need a visual observer nearby. However, a drone pilot could more specifically be referred to as the Remote Pilot in Command or RPIC.

According to the GOM, either pilot could call for a go-around, yet neither did despite the published stabilized approach criteria being violated. The ceiling is 800 ft overcast. The second in command (SIC) suggested S-turns to lose altitude and speed, but the pilot in command (PIC) responded, “Nah, we got it.”
