Currently the airport has 2 terminals with a 3rd starting operation in the near future, it has an impressive 5 runways (runway 17L/35R, 17R/35L, 16L/34R, 16R/34L and 15/33). Once we reached near the threshold, we waited for this China Eastern A330 to land before we depart. At this point, we started rolling down the runway.

Photo: EPS1) After 10 minutes of taxi, we were near the threshold of the runway. At the threshold, we were cleared to depart. Passing by one of JAL's aircraft in the special livery. This is the special livery 787-8 (Expo 2025 - JA823J) aircraft. Take off was slightly bumpy due to the cross wind.

Currently the airport has 4 terminals with 3 passengers terminals and 1 cargo complex. Blue Dart's Boeing 757-200F was being towed to the cargo hanger. This time, both of the engines were started after pushed back so no PTU (Power Transfer Unit) - 'barking' noise was heard during our taxi to the runway. We entered the runway 25.

Anyway, on our approach to Athens, we were greeted with a spectacular view of the landscape but there was quite a bit of crosswind which made the ride slightly uncomfortable but not long after we landed smoothly on runway 21L.
