A Qantas Airbus A330 caused significant damage to the main runway during its takeoff from Perth, Australia. Witnesses and airport surveillance footage captured the moment when the Airbus A330’s powerful thrust dislodged sections of the newly resurfaced runway. The incident occurred on September 15, 2024. local time.

Imagine what it’s like slinging suitcases out on the tarmac when the mercury hits triple digits. Together, this dictates higher takeoff and landing speeds — which, in turn, increases the amount of required runway. How much so will vary with the temperature and runway length.

737 Skids Off Tarmac In Senegal An Air Senegal flight left the runway during take-off late on Wednesday night , with flames allegedly engulfing one side of the plane. At least 10 people were injured at Dakar’s Blaise Daigne airport, including the pilot.

Currently the airport has 2 terminals, the main and the satallite terminal and uses 2 runways, runway 03L/21R and 03R/21R.

The airport tarmac, traffic was very light at that time. The door connects to the cargo section of the aircraft. We landed on runway 21 at Seletar Airport. The sole runway is capable of handling these aircraft. I advise you to grab your bite over here as there is nothing much at the air side.

What I like about the interior of the terminals at this airport is they offer good view of the tarmac which allow great opportunity to take good photos of the aircraft. Window shot photos After pushed back, we took about 15 minutes to reach the runway. DHL and Aerologic are also big names in the cargo airline business.
