Hong Kong Airport starts simultaneous three-runway operations for the first time

Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) has officially started simultaneous three-runway operations for the first time allowing more aircraft to take off and land together. Under Hong Kong Airport’s plans, the three runways will enable 120 million passengers and 10 million tons of cargo to be handled annually from around 2034.

Boeing 737-400F destroyed after inflight fire and emergency landing in Brazil

The aircraft, operated by all-cargo airline Total Linhas Aereas was operating a domestic cargo flight from Vitoria to Sao Paulo when the crew received a cargo fire warning, forcing the emergency landing. The aircraft was directed towards runway 28L at Guarulhos for a priority landing.
