Currently the airport has 2 terminals with a 3rd starting operation in the near future, it has an impressive 5 runways (runway 17L/35R, 17R/35L, 16L/34R, 16R/34L and 15/33). Currently the airport has 4 terminals with 3 passengers terminals and 1 cargo complex. Blue Dart's Boeing 757-200F was being towed to the cargo hanger. This time, both of the engines were started after pushed back so no PTU (Power Transfer Unit) - 'barking' noise was heard during our taxi to the runway. We entered the runway 25.

At least when we started our descent, the weather was much better, descending and landing in smooth condition. Anyway, we landed at runway 20R and that means one thing, a good view of the traffic along the expressway as our aircraft taxied across the bridge (south cross) to get to Terminal 2. Anyway, on our approach to Athens, we were greeted with a spectacular view of the landscape but there was quite a bit of crosswind which made the ride slightly uncomfortable but not long after we landed smoothly on runway 21L. It is possible for the Airbus A321neo-LR to fly from Bahrain to Singapore but fortunately, that won't happen because of the healthy load and cargo of this route which the A321 might struggle especially flying through headwind and besides the 787 Dreamliner is better suited for 7 hour flights and longer.
