Flight AI 183 departed Delhi International Airport (DEL) at around 15:44 local time. The airline arranged a ferry (or rescue) flight the following day on June 19, 2024.

Reports I’ve seen suggest that a fire sensor in the cargo hold had been activated, prompting the diversion. The aircraft landed safely at KJA with all 225 passengers and 19 members of the flight crew, who have now disembarked and have been taken to the terminal building for further processes.
