Initially a woman sitting at the aisle seat was willing to change her seat with the wife (sitting a row behind me - middle seat) then after that the cabin crew came to assist and informed them that there was a vacant seat at the first row (no idea which seat it was). One thing I won't miss is the dreadful weather. Here we are!

The weather was cooling and it was a great day for walk. After take-off, there was a bit of turbulence during climb especially flying through some clouds. Once that was cleared, the cabin crew were released for duty. There are lavatories between the Economy Class cabin. This cabin crew (below) wasn't friendly.

The weather was not good that day. Greeted by the not-so-friendly crew, I made my way to the seat with about 90% of the seats taken. I checked the weather radar and fortunately for us, the weather was good until evening time. The crew came around to serve us snack and for the rest of the ride, it was a comfortable ride.

My cabin luggage was able to fit in but it is better to have the handle of the baggage facing you to optimise space. My in-flight experience We boarded with the cabin crew welcoming us. Anyway I find it strange that even though the safety video was played, the crew still did a manual safety demonstration, that's a first for me.

Once on board, I noticed a cabin crew was serving champagne on a plastic cup and was pleasantly surprised I was given one, I suppose because of the occasion (New Year's Day). Announcement was made by the Captain about our flight which we would to expect some turbulence especially along the way but no mention about the flight delay.

My in-flight Experience After boarding the aircraft, the purser standing near the door gave me a half hearted smile and one of the cabin crew (let's call her A) was loud, instructing the passengers like how a school teacher deals with his/her students. Unfortunately weather at Athens was not good, it was quite windy at that time.

Look at the cabin ambiance, I am a definitely a fan of these colours. A starlux cabin crew was preparing the flight for departure. I should be able to do a video call but if there is turbulence, I won’t be surprised if my phone “fly". The weather was better than my previous flight. The view from my seat.

There was turbulence from time to time but nothing bad to mention. The cabin crew on this flight was certainly better than the previous flight, the ones I met in the lower deck were friendly and helpful. It was good weather at Singapore as our approach and landing was smooth. There were 2 meals offered on this flight.

The cabin crew were waiting for us. However, he mentioned that there was turbulence along the way, not a surprise especially June to October period is usually the typhoon season and bad weather is quite common. I wonder whether was it because of the bad weather on route that caused us to push back late.

Damp Lease is which the lessor (owner) provides the aircraft, maintainence of the aircraft and flight crew. However, cabin crew and insurance will not be provided. The airline that is leasing the aircraft will provide its own cabin crew and will be trained before being allowed to work on these leased aircraft.

By then the aircraft started its descent when the cabin crew were released from their seats. Unfortunately the weather wasn't good that day.

After take off, the ride was generally smooth but there was turbulence from time to time but the worst was flying over Bay of Bengal near India. The reason is that the nice cabin crew offered to move my seat mate which she accepted to the front so that she could get off as soon as she can to catch her connecting flight.

Anyway, the service on board both flights were great, the crew were professional and they were able to communicate in English. What excites me about this trip with GOL is that I finally caught my first 737 MAX ride and also enjoyed the splendid view from Rio De Janeiro to Sao Paulo although the weather was not the best.

The weather at Changi was great! The weather that day in Singapore was great and we took off smoothly into the friendly skies. The captain made a couple of announcements including the welcome and thank you speeches and he also mentioned about some weather along the way. This is where my flight departed from. Time to board!

Therefore it is common for flight delays in departure and arrival especially if the weather is bad. Since these aircraft were already installed with Aeroflot's cabin interior and configuration, the Indian airline decided to make some minor changes and that also means the airline didn't have to wait long to take delivery of the 6 aircraft.
