The airport currently has 2 terminals in operation with a 3rd terminal currently being built and has 2 runways 05L/23R and 05R/23L, with a 3rd runway being built to manage the increased traffic once the new terminal starts operation. Look at the cabin ambiance, I am a definitely a fan of these colours. The view from my seat.

With 2 runways, (12L/30R and 12R/30L), both runways have sufficent runway length to be able to cope with the heaviest and biggest aircraft, the A380 and Boeing 747-8F. The cabin crew on this flight was certainly better than the previous flight, the ones I met in the lower deck were friendly and helpful.

The weather was cooling and it was a great day for walk. Once that was cleared, the cabin crew were released for duty. Like my previous flights, a set of crew would come around with a camera offering complimentary polaroid photos for the passengers and not surprisingly, they went past me. Once on board, I noticed a cabin crew was serving champagne on a plastic cup and was pleasantly surprised I was given one, I suppose because of the occasion (New Year's Day). Once we were on our way, we flew through a bit of turbulence but once the weather was better, the seat belt sign was turned off. That's a good idea!

Damp Lease is which the lessor (owner) provides the aircraft, maintainence of the aircraft and flight crew. However, cabin crew and insurance will not be provided. The airline that is leasing the aircraft will provide its own cabin crew and will be trained before being allowed to work on these leased aircraft.

Introduction I wasn't looking forward to going home as I thoroughly enjoyed myself in London especially the cooler weather and more exciting places to visit compared to my country. The cabin crew were great as they came around many times during the flight to serve water and of course the 2 meals we received.

What else I noted about this flight is the cabin crew made a birthday announcement wishing a 17 years old passenger, a happy birthday (I wonder whether she received anything from the crew - SQ does offer birthday cakes but you need to request in advance) and our first officer on this flight was a female.

The reason is that the nice cabin crew offered to move my seat mate which she accepted to the front so that she could get off as soon as she can to catch her connecting flight. During the flight, I used flightradar24 to check on the weather and our flight progress. Good weather sometimes give you beautiful view like this.

The cabin crew were waiting for us. However, he mentioned that there was turbulence along the way, not a surprise especially June to October period is usually the typhoon season and bad weather is quite common. I wonder whether was it because of the bad weather on route that caused us to push back late.

Looking around the cabin, I noticed this set of cabin crew looked stress and I can understand as they were kept quite busy on this almost full flight. The weather on this day was better than I expect. The weather on this day was better than I expect. After the engines were stabilised, we taxied to runway 20C.

The weather at Changi was great! Once that was done, we spent about 1/4 of our flight time taxing to runway 20L. The weather that day in Singapore was great and we took off smoothly into the friendly skies. The taxi to runway 20L seem to take forever. This is where my flight departed from. Time to board!

The airport mayhave 2 runways (runway 14/32 and runway 09/27) but only one runway is in operation (09/27) and if this runway is in maintenance, the other runway will be in used. Therefore it is common for flight delays in departure and arrival especially if the weather is bad.
