Ryanair Boeing 737 emergency evacuation in Italy following engine fire: video

Everyone onboard a recent Ryanair flight was forced to evacuate when the cabin crew noticed fire emanating from one of the aircraft’s two engines as it began its take-off roll at an airport in Italy. All passengers and crew made it off the aircraft safely with no apparent injuries, having exited using the emergency slides.

Jeju Air B737-800 carrying 181 people onboard crashes in South Korea

Landed without flying gear At approximately 09:08 local time, the B737-800 managed to land at Muan Airports runway with its flying gear up. Video footage taken shows the plane landing, and eventually reaching the end of the runway, where it crashed into a concrete fence wall and exploded into flames.

Aer Lingus Regional ATR72 suffers nose gear collapse after heaving landing

The aircraft had been attempting to land in strong winds when the incident happened, which resulted in the single-runway airport being closed while the aircraft was recovered. The flight had two pilots onboard accompanied by two cabin crew. This was a positioning flight with no passengers but four crew members onboard.

Flight attendant airlifted to hospital as SWISS Airbus A220 cabin fills with smoke

A SWISS Airbus A220-300 made an emergency landing in Graz, Austria, on December 23, 2024, after smoke and fumes filled the cabin. Local press reports one member of the cabin crew was airlifted to hospital, while at least 16 others have been taken to hospital, including the flight crew and several passengers.
