Unlike the A320neo, this aircraft is configured with IFE screen entertainment for every seat and lie-flat bed for the business class cabin and this product is familar to me as I had experienced it before with Copa Airlines and that flight was also a long flight for a narrow-body, about 23 minutes longer than this flight (5 hours 37 mins).

By the time they are done, they started collecting the thrash but during our descent, we encountered some rough turbulence and the hardworking crew had to hold on.

My aircraft, VT-YAK had a long layover at this airport as the previous flight took place the day before so therefore a set of crew was needed to be transported to the aircraft. After getting up from my seat, I followed the cabin crew who led me to my new assigned seat and to my relief it was a window seat. I can only speculate.

We were on final approach onto runway 02L, greeted by the familar sighting of the Eastern part of Singapore. It is just annoying that some can't sit properly or be considerate towards others.

The reason is that the nice cabin crew offered to move my seat mate which she accepted to the front so that she could get off as soon as she can to catch her connecting flight. At this point we were close to our final approach to FRA airport. Lady lucky was on my side as I was able to enjoy the great view at seat 46A.

China Airlines also operate this model and the latest news is EVA Air will also join the A350 club from 2026 onwards, subject to changes. Time to board Starlux's Airbus A350-900! What else I noted about this flight is the cabin crew made a birthday announcement wishing a 17 years old passenger, a happy birthday (I wonder whether she received anything from the crew - SQ does offer birthday cakes but you need to request in advance) and our first officer on this flight was a female.
