According to CAA documents, the aircraft was modified with a 300hp engine and a Hamilton-Standard propeller, underwent weight-and-balance checks and an annual inspection. After the war, the aircraft passed through a few more owners, such as North Country Airways of Saranock Lake, NY before being acquired by Jack Baird of Marshall, MI.
